Well here I am delving into the virtual world of blogging. Thanks to my lovely sister in law, I have found a new way to provide information about my life and my passion....Creating! I have had many requests to see a display of my pieces that are available to purchase. I will post pictures of the pieces that are available now, some that I have made in the past, and some pieces that are made to order. If there is something specific you are looking for, or something very individual (ie. one earring hole is lower than the other and some custom alterations need to be done) tell me what you need, and I would be more than happy to help you achieve your vision.
Here is a little information about me :) I live in Beautiful British Columbia with my husband of 15 years, and my 3 active boys-twins (5) and my youngest son (4). I am a newbie to this beautiful province and am constantly in awe of the wonders it offers. I work part time in the evenings and weekends as a Registered Dental Hygienist (with some great people who by the way also love jewellery;), I am a full time mom, and part time jewellery designer and fabricator. I also love crafting and surfing other blogs. In my spare time (hah!) I try to keep up with the housework but I must confess if anything falls behind-this is it! My husband is trying to be patient with me but unfortunately doesn't share my obsession with all things sparkley and shiney and beautiful.
The things that I treasure the most in life are my family, our friends and creating. You see, if I am not able to create, I go a little crazy, then end up in a frenzy into all hours of the night like a chorus of Santa's Elves getting ready for Christmas. But alas, reality is I am only one person and there are only 24 hours in the day.
I hope that you will find some little gems to appreciate, perhaps purchase and if you don't see what you are looking for please ask me. I am more than happy to do custom pieces.
I feel the beauty and value of having something handmade is that you have a little piece of the artist in every item you own. Take some time for yourself and feed that inner Diva that lives inside each and every one of us.:)
Sincerely,
Dianne
